     From its inception in 1987, FGInc has manufactured games and puzzles using recycled materials, vegetable-based inks, and natural glues and lacquers.
Our products pass vigorous safety tests regulated by independent certified testing
laboratories on a regular basis to maintain a high safety standard in accordance with the
laws of the United States of America, Canada, and the European community*.




     In August 2008, the CPSIA (Consumer Product Safety Improvement
Act (HR4040)) went into affect stipulating changes to the consumer product safety laws.
As of February 10, 2009, the total lead content in children’s (12 years of age or younger)
products may not be greater than 600 ppm (parts per million). On August 14, 2009, the total
lead content in children’s products must be lowered to no greater than 300 ppm. Paint
containing lead must be reduced to 90 ppm. at
present all FGInc products contain a total lead content of less than 25 ppm which by far
exceeds all CPSIA requirements. Furthermore, the CPSIA has mandated that COC’s
(Certificates of Conformity, or Compliance) must be made available for all products
manufactured on, and after, November 12th, 2008.




     In addition, please note that though FGInc does not
manufacture products intended for children under 6 years of age, many of our products are
played in households with youngsters about, therefore every applicable product bears a
warning label reminding consumers of the potential danger if small pieces or magnets are
ingested. These chocking hazards are affixed to the packaging as a precautionary measure but
are not a requirement of the CPSIA.
