Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) policy, Effective Immediately.

Family Games inc / Family Games America FGA inc and its subsidiaries invest on a regular and ongoing basis valuable resources into the development of its award winning, high quality, toys, games, puzzles, and gift line. We along with our customers and representatives spend a considerable amount of money into the marketing of our product line and brand.
We believe that the internet certainly provides a great market for promoting brands and products, but we also see it as a marketplace where operating costs can be quite low and discounts are common.
These discounts are sometimes used as lost leaders and affect greatly the marketing of our brand. In an effort to maintain the quality and integrity of our brand online, Family Games America FGA inc has established a minimum advertised price policy, MAP.
Online resellers of Family Games inc /Family Games America FGA inc. products and product line may not advertise a price lower than the minimum advertised price. As a result, legal consequences can occur for non-adherence of the MAP policy.
The MAP is currently calculated as no more that 10 percent off the MSRP.
For example: $24.95 msrp
No more than 10% off = $22.45
This MAP policy was established in order to protect and support all retailers, resellers and consumers of our products. We do not in any way want to interfere with the business of our retailers and resellers but we want to make sure that the consumers benefit from our innovations and high quality of products.
The MAP policy only applies to internet retail and prices therein. Sales items, discontinued items, temporary sales discounts and promotions of any kind that lower the retail pricing effectively and that are unable to be enforced are acceptable as much as they do not nor will not affect the aforementioned exemptions.
If an item is effectively being offered at a discount lower than the established MAP pricing policy for the prime purpose of liquidating an item and this being the intent purpose than such reseller will not be supplied this item in the future. Should the retailer or reseller decide to carry such item in the future than the retailer or resellers must abide by the MAP policy in force.
Family Games inc / Family Games America FGA INC and all of its subsidiaries reserves the right to sell to any online retailers or resellers that are in violation of our MAP policy which is an inherent part of our terms of sale.
The MAP policy enforcement may be applied to specific MAP policy violators by either limiting orders, requiring prepayments terms and/or denying sales altogether.
Resellers’ compliance with this policy is being monitored 24/7 by a third-party service using automated systems. Consequently, policy violations will be identified and violating resellers will be subject to account suspension or termination.

MAP policy will be effective as of Tuesday September 22, 2015, at midnight.
